This API allows a consumer to create an auto policy change, retrieve or delete a saved policy change & rate and bind the new and/or retrieved policy change. This API provides the core operations of the PolicyCenter Auto application. This API will also make the necessary calls to retrieve geographic information, vehicle information, coverage cost and other reports in order to rate and bind the new and/or retrieved policy change accurately.

Nationwide Auto Sales Quoting API. This API provides a list of operations that support the Personal Auto Quoting Process.

This API allows a consumer to create a quote, update a quote, rate and bind a quote and then issue a policy. This API provides the core
operations of the PolicyCenter Auto application. To create a quote, the consumer must provide personal information about the prospective policyholder
such as Name, Address, Date of Birth, etc. In addition, vehicle information must be provided. This API will then make the necessary calls to retrieve
geographic information, vehicle information, current insurance carrier, and credit history reports in order to rate and bind a quote accurately.

The API will enable customers to move from Nationwide.com to process quotes from the Bold Penguin platform. This provides the ability for small business owners to get a quote and bind a business owners policy directly through Nationwide.com. With this new offering, Nationwide can meet more online shoppers where they want to do business while testing new digital capabilities for the future.

Commercial Account Clearance V4

The API gets the Clearance for creating an account, submission process each time the account details are updated, rate the quote and bind quote from the Global IADB (Insured Account Data Base). This clearance service will be triggered whenever the user is trying to do the above-mentioned operations. This service takes in parameters like Clearance Type (Account Creation, Update Account Details, Rate Quote, Bind Quote), insured details, address details, agency number, account type, source account number,quote types, quote numbers to do a fuzzy search in the Global IADB to get the list of account that matches with the requested data and will in turn assign the match codes for each account based on the requirement criteria. The account with high priority match code will be returned in response along with the match code and Account status.

Commercial Accounts V4

This API retrieves the account details from IADB (Insured Account Database) for provided account information to see whether any account exist with 'Agency in use' or other agency. The IADB database is used for storing and maintaining the account. This API also adds or updates the reservation for the given account

Commercial Edge V3

These APIs are externally accessible wrappers for the Commercial Lines Edge APIs used to interface with CL PolicyCenter. These are wrappers for a JSON-RPC based API provided with Guidewire's Digital Portal products. Therefore, the operations are really part of the JSON payload being passed to PolicyCenter, not the APIs themselves. For that reason, this API is simply a proxy to the PolicyCenter instances with the proper security features in place.

Commercial Platform Locator V2

This API gets the available Products to CQS (Clear Quote System) from PlatformLocator for the given Agency Type. CQS also passes the Agency Type , State, Effective Date, Product Code and MarketSegmentation to Platform locator to get the decide platform based on the inputs

This API provides functionality to retrieve a member's email and phone, send a one-time pass code to the selected contact point, and validate the one-time pass code. This process establishes a second factor of authentication for that member.

This API's will call the OpenText Exstream application. The API will be used to create real time pdf Documents that will be returned to the calling application.
These documents will also have to option to be stored and printed via batch process.

E&S Specialty Insurance Agency Locator V1

Find Excess & Surplus / Specialty Agents to support your excess and surplus insurance needs. Search is available by Agency Name, State, or Line of business such as Commercial Transportation, Errors & Omissions, Long Haul Trucking, etc. Valid State codes can be found at /states. Valid Lines of Business can be found at /linesOfBusiness. Exposing the Agency Locator service for NW Excess & Surplus / Specialty. All of this information is currently available already to the public on the ESS Public Site.

Interactive Documents V1

These API's will call the OpenText Empower Document Composition application which will allow user to create on-demand interactive documents from templates that have already been established. An API will be used to search for Interactive Document templates. The template details returned will be used within a second API to create an interactive document. The API's can then be used to search for and edit the saved draft interactive documents. Finally, there will be an API used to save the interactive document as a final PDF for use by the business partner.

Internet Registration V1

This API enables a policyholder (owner or organization) to register for an online account, given they have already established an agreement.

Licensing and Appointment V1

Licensing and Appointment (L&A) is a business function that allows Nationwide to appoint Distribution Partners that desire to engage in selling Nationwide products.
Requests for L&A are received and worked thru the due diligence work flow.  Status to understand the due diligence stage of a request can be obtained.

Life Interview Management V1

The purpose of this API is to provide capability for conducting health assessment interview (Magnum based) as part of the policy underwriting process. SwissRe Magnum is a packaged software that plays the role of the underwriting rule and decision engine. Online Interview application is an SPA (Single Page App hosted in NF Nationwide iMedia). It leverages API Management Gateway to interact with backend Provider APIs (SwissRe Magnum, Vision, ISC, etc.). Backend APIs contain PII and PHI data. Online interview could be completed by Proposed Insured (digital interview) or by the CSR with Tele-interviewer role (tele interview).

This API allows a consumer to perform operations that aide in the Personal Lines Quoting processes.

Pet Insurance Quote V1

The Pet Insurance Quote API allows you to quickly and easily get real-time quotes for pet insurance. By simply providing some information about the pet and pet owner a quote will be created and returned with all relevant pricing information. The quote will be stored and a link provided for easy enrollment starting with the quote that was created.
